Deema and Alex’s Rosewood Phuket Wedding combined contemporary luxury with the warmth and energy of Lebanese family traditions. The destination celebration brought together elegant styling, emotional moments and an energetic evening reception.
The day moved from relaxed preparations at the villa to an elegant air-conditioned ceremony inside the Glass House, followed by an energetic open-air reception and a late-night party in the very same space where the ceremony had taken place only a few hours earlier.
A Luxury Lebanese Wedding at Rosewood Phuket
A Relaxed Morning at the Villa
Deema’s wedding morning began in one of the villas at Rosewood Phuket, surrounded by her bridesmaids and the beauty team preparing her for the ceremony. The bridesmaids wore soft beige robes while Deema wore white, creating a simple and elegant colour palette for the first photographs of the day.
Before getting dressed, everyone spent some time on the villa lawn. Champagne was opened, the girls relaxed together and we photographed the natural interaction between them without turning the morning into a formal photoshoot.
Back inside the villa, the bridesmaids helped Deema into her wedding dress and we photographed the final details of the preparations. Alex was getting ready separately in a room close to the ceremony area, surrounded by his friends, all dressed in tuxedos.
An Elegant Ceremony Inside the Glass House
Phuket was extremely hot that day, so instead of holding the ceremony outdoors, the couple chose the Glass House at Rosewood Phuket. The air-conditioned space kept everyone comfortable while its glass walls preserved the natural light and tropical feeling of the resort.
Bridal Planner created the decor in a refined white, blush pink and purple palette, with floral arrangements, furniture and decorative fans throughout the ceremony space. The interior itself remained soft and understated, with pastel beige tones creating a calm background for the ceremony.
Live music added another layer to the atmosphere. Violins and cello accompanied the ceremony, giving the space a completely different feeling from the lively celebration that would follow later in the day.
Wedding Portraits Without Leaving the Celebration
After the ceremony, Deema and Alex preferred not to disappear from their guests for a long portrait session. We spent only a short time creating portraits around the Rosewood Phuket lobby.
The huge wooden doors became one of our favourite backgrounds of the wedding. Their scale, texture and warm tones created a strong architectural contrast with the lighter ceremony setting and allowed us to create a small collection of elegant portraits without travelling anywhere else.
An Energetic Lebanese Wedding Reception
Once the celebration moved outside, the atmosphere changed completely. Traditional drummers brought an immediate sense of energy to the reception and the guests quickly gathered around Deema and Alex.
The couple were lifted above the crowd, carried on shoulders and surrounded by dancing friends and family. At one point Deema and Alex took the drumsticks themselves and joined the musicians, turning the reception into something closer to a live performance than a formal wedding dinner.
These were some of the most spontaneous photographs of the day. There was very little to direct — the photography was simply about staying close to the action, anticipating the next moment and allowing the energy of the celebration to tell the story.
From Ceremony Space to Nightclub
While the guests were enjoying the outdoor reception, the Glass House was being transformed behind the scenes.
By the time everyone returned, the elegant ceremony space had become a nightclub. Disco balls, party lighting and music replaced the quiet pastel atmosphere of the afternoon, giving the wedding a completely different final chapter.
From champagne on the villa lawn and live strings during the ceremony to Lebanese drums and a late-night dance floor, Deema and Alex’s wedding moved through several very different moods while still feeling like one complete story.

Wedding Photography FAQ
Can a wedding ceremony at Rosewood Phuket be held indoors?
Yes. Deema and Alex held their ceremony inside the air-conditioned Glass House because the weather outside was extremely hot. The glass walls still provided natural light while keeping the couple and guests comfortable.
Can bridal preparations be photographed at a Rosewood Phuket villa?
Yes. Deema prepared at one of the villas together with her bridesmaids and beauty team. We used both the interior and the villa lawn for relaxed photographs before the ceremony.
Where can we take wedding portraits at Rosewood Phuket?
The resort offers several architectural and natural settings. For this wedding we used the lobby and its large wooden doors, allowing us to create elegant portraits without taking the couple away from their guests for a long period.
Can photography and videography cover the full wedding day?
Yes. Coverage can begin with separate bride and groom preparations and continue through the ceremony, portraits, reception and evening party depending on the selected package and wedding timeline.
Can the ceremony space later be transformed for the party?
That is exactly what happened at this wedding. During the outdoor reception the Glass House was redesigned with disco balls, lighting and music and later became the nightclub for the final part of the celebration.
